At Aesthetics Medical, we prefer to work with high-quality Motiva® implants. Developed in Switz­erland, these implants offer a parti­cu­larly soft, natural-looking shape, both when lying down and standing up, thanks to their cohesive, ultra-fine gel. Motiva implants are equipped with an integrated RFID chip that enables precise identi­fi­cation and tracking. This not only increases safety, but also trans­pa­rency for our patients. Alter­na­tively, other renowned implant brands can be used on request. In such cases, a surcharge may apply.

Depending on the individual situation, breast augmen­tation is performed either under twilight sleep (sedation) or general anaes­thesia. Both proce­dures are carried out in a controlled, certified environment under the super­vision of experi­enced anaes­the­sio­lo­gists. The appro­priate form of anaes­thesia will be agreed with you during the consultation.

The consul­tation forms the basis for successful treatment. Dr Mazzei takes the time to under­stand your wishes and clarify all medically relevant aspects. You will receive compre­hensive infor­mation about implant selection, incision technique, placement, healing process and risks.

Breast enlar­gement is ideal for women who are dissa­tisfied with the size or shape of their breasts or who wish to restore volume after physical changes.

The size of the implant is selected indivi­dually based on your body propor­tions, your tissue and your aesthetic goals. Various models and shapes are discussed in order to achieve the best possible result.

The procedure usually takes 60 to 90 minutes. Depending on the case, the operation is performed on an outpa­tient basis or with a short hospital stay.

The most common incisions are made in the crease under the breast, around the nipple or in the armpit. The scars are placed as incon­spi­cuously as possible and fade signi­fi­cantly over time.

Implants can be placed either above or below the chest muscle. The choice of placement depends on your individual anatomy and the desired aesthetic result.

The aim is to achieve a natural look and feel. Modern implants such as Motiva enable a very realistic feel.

Patients are usually able to resume their normal daily activities after a few days. Swelling and feelings of tightness are normal and subside quickly.

Light activities are possible after appro­xi­m­ately two weeks. Intensive training should be avoided for about six to eight weeks.

You will receive a special support bra and will be closely monitored by our team. Regular check-ups ensure optimal healing results.

Possible risks include infection, capsule formation or temporary changes in sensi­tivity. Thanks to our many years of experience and high-quality materials, we minimise these risks to a minimum.

Modern implants are durable and do not need to be replaced routinely. They are only replaced if the patient wishes to change them or if there is a medical indication.

Imaging exami­na­tions such as MRI or mammo­graphy are also possible with implants. Please inform the radiology department in advance about the implant.
