What is PRX-T33 Peeling?
The PRX-T33 peel is an innovative method of biochemical stimulation of the skin. It is a highly effective, advanced, and painless treatment that does not use needles and does not damage the skin. The non-invasive procedure is effective but gentle, as it does not cause skin peeling or redness. The result is a smoothing and tightening of the tissues — a rejuvenating effect, which is visible immediately after the treatment. Not only are wrinkles reduced, but scars and pigmentation disorders are clearly improved by the brightening effect. The treatment is even suitable in the summer months, as no photosensitisation is caused by the PRX-T33 formula.
Advantages of PRX-T33 Peeling
What are the advantages of PRX-T33 Peeling?
The PRX-T33 peel triggers biorevitalisation of the skin without aggressive peeling. It is a gentle method that promotes skin rejuvenation without stressing the skin itself. The following benefits are associated with PRX-T33 therapy:
- Immediately after treatment, improved skin texture with long-lasting effects: The active ingredients deeply penetrate the skin (dermis). In the process, the overlying, outer layer of skin (epidermis) is regenerated. This leads to the stimulation of new collagen and elastin growth which makes the skin look firmer. The treatment also improves circulation and leaves the skin looking fresh.
- Painless treatment: PRX-T33 is a biochemical peel that does not use needles or injections. The formula is applied directly to the skin and massaged in. It is a non-ablative treatment that does not cause redness or bruising, but activates the regeneration process of the outer layer of the skin (epidermis).
- No downtime: thanks to the innovative formula, the peeling is not an exfoliating procedure. The skin is neither reddened nor sensitive after the treatment. Social activities can be resumed after the session without any restrictions.
- Safe year-round: the peeling does not cause photosensitisation - hence the treatment can be performed even in the summer months without risking pigmentation disorders.
- Multiple effects: PRX-T33 peeling achieves visible improvements in
- the elimination of pigment spots or melasma
- sunken scars,
- large pores or
- sagging skin and wrinkles
Other benefits include:
- No anaesthesia required
- No incision and no scars
- Well-tolerated in sensitive skin

PRX-T33 procedure: How does a PRX-T33 Peeling proceed?
1. Preliminary discussion /consultation:
At the beginning of the first session, our expert will have a consultation with you. During this consultation, we will determine your desired result and treatment area, as well as whether the PRX-T33 Peeling is suitable for you. We will inform you about possible risks and the realistic results you can expect. Then, before starting, we will agree on the type and duration of PRX-T33 therapy to achieve optimal results.
2. Before the treatment:
After the consultation, the session is started. The area to be treated - face, neck and/or décolleté - is cleaned and dried. Please – if possible for at least two hours before the treatment do not apply heavy creams and make-up.
3. During treatment:
The PRX-T33 solution is a gel that is applied to the skin and massaged in until it is completely absorbed. This procedure is repeated up to three times. After this procedure, the skin is cleaned and patted dry. Then a mask with revitalising active ingredients is applied, which can penetrate even better into the deeper skin layer due to the treatment. After 10 minutes the mask is washed off and a moisturising day cream is applied and the skin looks soothed, fresh and firm.
4. After the treatment:
After the treatment you immediately look fresher, the skin is smoother and has better blood circulation. You can go about your desired activities immediately after the treatment and are not limited in any way. However, you should repeat your next PRX-T33 peeling at the earliest after one week.
If you experience skin irritation, itching or other problems after the treatment, you can contact us at any time. We are here for you.
What to expect with PRX-T33 Peeling?
The results are very individual, as the success of the treatment depends on the initial situation of the skin texture and the desired result. Our treatment experience shows that the skin has significantly finer pores, pigmentary disorders such as age spots, melasma and sun spots are significantly reduced or disappear completely.
In the case of scars, the result depends on the size and depth of the scars and can vary depending on the duration of treatment. An improvement is evident for most patients after the first treatment. For optimal results, we recommend a series of at least two to three sessions.
Does PRX-T33 Peeling help against stretch marks?
Yes. According to examples, the solution is also effective against stretch marks. We treat primarily face, neck and décolleté. If you would like to treat other zones on the body, you are welcome to contact us and we will invite you for consultation and treatment.
How does PRX-T33 treatment work?
The PRX-T33 ingredient is a proprietary formula and contains the combination TCA (33%) and hydrogen peroxide (67%), which is often used in peeling formulas. In PRX-T33 solution, this combination works differently than in classic chemical peelings. The product is applied to cleansed and dry skin and massaged in using a specific technique, allowing the trichloroacetic acid (TCA) to penetrate the skin and rapidly stimulate skin regeneration in the deeper layers. This biorevitalisation stimulation is used to build an extracellular matrix to optimise cellular activity, thus promoting collagen and elastin production.
The hydrogen peroxide contained in the solution is inhibited at the skin surface so that the skin is not damaged. Therefore, it is a non-ablative method - the outer layer of skin remains undamaged and does not peel off.
In addition, kojic acid, has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. It inhibits the enzyme for melanin production and thus causes the reduction of age and pigment spots.
The peeling works from the inside out smoothing fine lines and wrinkles, visibly shrinking pores and levelling sunken scars. It moisturises the skin and gives it back more elasticity.
How does PRX-T33 Peeling feel and is it painful?
PRX-T33 treatment is not painful. The gel is applied in several layers and massaged in. As a result, the skin has better blood circulation and you may feel a slight tingling sensation. Our patients report feeling very comfortable and relaxed during the treatment.
What are the possible risks and side effects of PRX-T33 Peeling?
After PRX-T33 therapy, the regeneration phase of the skin begins. Sunbathing and solarium visits should be avoided for the first three days after treatment. Redness and a burning sensation may also appear. These side effects are rather rare, but can occur depending on the sensitisation.
Except in rare cases, circulation is increased after the treatment but will not appear significantly reddened or strongly irritated.
We will be happy to advise you before your treatment about potential risks and whether the PRX-T33 Peeling is suitable for you.
How long does the recovery take?
PRX-T33 Peeling does not require any recovery downtime. You will have an immediate glow effect after the treatment - your skin will look fresh and radiant!
Can I do sports after the PRX-T33 Peeling?
Yes. You can resume your normal activities as usual after PRX-T33 treatment.
How long is the skin sensitive after PRX-T33 treatment?
The skin is not injured by the treatment but the process of regeneration requires an interval of at least 7-10 days prior to repeating the treatment.
How long does it take to see results with the PRX-T33 Peeling?
Immediately after the treatment you will have a much firmer, better perfused and moisturised skin. Lines, crow's feet or other wrinkles will be refined. You will get an immediate glow effect, so the treatment is especially popular in preparation for an occasion or event.
Melasma and hyperpigmentation may disappear after 1 to 3 treatments. For the refinement of sunken scars, experience shows that 5 to 6 sessions are needed. The results depend very individually on the condition and tolerance of the skin.
We recommend repeating the treatments at intervals of 7-10 days, if several sessions are planned.
You should note that even if the results are visible immediately after the treatment, the regeneration process is ongoing. The final results are long-lasting and may appear eight to ten weeks later, depending on the intensity and duration of treatment.
Feel free to book a free consultation appointment so we can discuss how many treatments you will need to achieve your desired results. This will also allow us to estimate the time frame when you can expect the achievement of your desired result.
Can I enhance the PRX-T33 results with additional peeling treatments?
Yes. However, we recommend further peels after one week at the earliest, so that the skin has time to regenerate. In addition, radiofrequency micro needling treatments and mesotherapy are suitable methods to complement the PRX-T33 peeling and thus achieve even better results.
How long do the results of PRX-T33 Peeling last?
Scar mitigating results are generally permanent. The elasticity of the skin is significantly improved and the aging process is slowed. Hyperpigmentation can be reduced or permanently disappear - but this depends strongly on the cause of discolouration.
How many sessions are needed?
Depending on each individual’s goals, 3 to 6 treatments are recommended. The treatment success is very individual and depends on the respective skin texture and the desired result.
We offer free consultations and are happy to talk with you about whether PRX therapy is right for you and an estimate of how many treatments are necessary for you to get the beautiful skin you want.
What makes PRX-T33 different from other methods? What makes the procedure unique?

Other advantages over other methods:
- No downtime
- Painless and no surgery necessary
- Consistent, long-lasting results especially for scars and pigment spots
- Can be used for all skin types and in summer

When and how was PRX-T33 Peeling discovered?
PRX-T33 was developed in Italy by renowned dermatologist Dr. Rossana Castellana and has been patent-protected since 2014. The product is approved for use in over 40 countries, including large parts of the EU, Australia, Japan and the USA.
PRX Therapy results from years of research in the field of dermatology. The innovative formula contains the combination of trichloroacetic acid (TCA) and hydrogen peroxide (H202). The revitalisation of tissues by TCA, among others, was published by the Skin Stress Response System (SSRS) in a scientific journal in 2012. It describes collagen regeneration by TCA.
