TotalSkin Solution™ brings together two Lutronic technologies in one session: Genius® radiofrequency microneedling and the LaseMD Ultra™ thulium laser. Genius® uses fine needles to deliver radiofrequency energy into deeper skin layers, where the controlled heat supports collagen and elastin production. LaseMD Ultra™ then treats the superficial layers and can improve skin tone, pigmentation and texture.
The combination is particularly suitable for skin laxity, fine lines, pigmentation changes, enlarged pores, an uneven skin surface and acne scars. At your consultation, we assess your skin and decide which areas to treat and how both devices should be set for you.
Treatment Areas
Face
On the face, the treatment is used for skin laxity, fine lines, an uneven complexion and visible signs of skin ageing. Radiofrequency in the deeper layers and laser at the surface work together on firmness, texture, pigmentation and radiance.
Neck
The delicate skin of the neck is treated specifically with Genius® RF and LaseMD Ultra™. The combination can improve firmness and texture and make fine lines and mild laxity less visible.
Décolleté
On the décolleté, the treatment addresses pigmentation changes, fine lines and reduced firmness. As the two methods work at different skin levels, they support a smoother, more even appearance.
Selected Body Areas
TotalSkin Solution™ can also be used on selected areas of the body for skin laxity, irregular skin texture and certain scars or pigmentation changes. The settings are adapted to each area and skin condition.
What is TotalSkin Solution™?
TotalSkin Solution™ unites two methods that work at different skin depths. In Genius® RF microneedling, very fine needles deliver radiofrequency energy into the dermis, the deeper skin layer. The controlled heat generated there can support collagen and elastin production, so the skin may feel firmer and more structured over the course of treatment.
LaseMD Ultra™ is a fractional thulium laser with a wavelength of 1927 nm. Fractional means that the laser energy creates controlled, microscopic treatment zones in the superficial skin layers. This supports skin renewal and can improve pigmentation changes, irregular texture and a dull complexion.
The intensity and settings of both technologies are tailored to skin type, skin condition and treatment goal. Depending on your starting point, the focus may be on tightening, texture, pigmentation, pores or scars. The treatment can be combined with other treatments, with the sequence and intervals planned individually.

What does the treatment involve?
Skin Analysis
The first step is a skin analysis and a conversation about your wishes. We then determine which areas will be treated and how the two technologies can complement each other.
Preparation
The skin is thoroughly cleansed and disinfected, and a numbing cream is applied if needed. The treatment parameters for both technologies are then set.
Genius® RF Microneedling
Very fine needles enter the skin in a controlled way and deliver radiofrequency energy precisely into the targeted skin layers. This heat supports collagen and elastin production.
LaseMD Ultra™
This is followed by treatment with the fractional thulium laser. It creates microscopic treatment zones in the superficial skin layers, with pigmentation, texture or pores as the main focus, depending on what your skin needs.
Aftercare
Finally, the skin is soothed and cared for with suitable products. You receive recommendations on skincare and sun protection for the following days.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the treatment work and how long does it take?
After the skin has been cleansed and disinfected, a numbing cream can be applied if needed. The skin is treated first with Genius® RF microneedling and then with LaseMD Ultra™, before being soothed and cared for. The treatment takes about 60–90 minutes in total.
Is the treatment painful, and is anaesthesia used?
Most people find the treatment mildly to moderately uncomfortable. To make it more comfortable, a numbing cream can be applied beforehand. After the session, your skin may feel warm for a while.
What risks and side effects are possible?
Possible reactions include redness and swelling for 1–3 days, a feeling of dryness and temporary pigmentation changes. In rare cases, redness can last longer, or hyperpigmentation (darker patches of skin) can develop if sun protection is inadequate. We discuss the risks relevant to your skin type with you beforehand.
What should I consider before the treatment?
Before the treatment, we assess your skin and discuss which areas and settings are suitable. Other aesthetic treatments are usually planned with a gap of 2 weeks before and 4 weeks after TotalSkin Solution™. The treatment can be carried out all year round, and you receive advice on medication and sun exposure in good time before your appointment.
What should I consider after the treatment?
For the first 24 hours, cleanse your skin gently, avoid make-up and drink plenty of water. During the first week, SPF 50+ sun protection and a mild moisturiser are important, and you should avoid mechanical exfoliation and saunas. Regular sun protection remains sensible in the long term as well.
How long does recovery take after the treatment?
Downtime is usually minimal and depends on the intensity of the treatment. Redness and swelling generally settle after 1–3 days, and a feeling of warmth or slight peeling may also occur temporarily. We decide together how intensive the treatment should be.

When do results become visible?
Immediately after treatment, your skin may look fresher and more even. First improvements usually appear after 2–3 weeks, with the full effect 2–3 months after the last treatment. How noticeable this is depends on the condition of your skin, the treatment intensity and your starting point.
How long do the results last?
The effect usually lasts 6–12 months. To maintain the results, 1–2 treatments per year are advisable. We discuss how long the effect is likely to last for you during the consultation.
How many sessions are usually needed?
Often 3–4 treatments are advisable, depending on your skin’s condition and your goal. There are usually 4–6 weeks between appointments. We agree on your exact treatment plan together after the skin analysis.
Who is the treatment suitable for?
TotalSkin Solution™ may be an option for people aged 30 and over with several skin concerns, particularly wrinkles combined with pigmentation or skin laxity with acne scars. The treatment is generally suitable for all skin types. In a personal consultation, we clarify whether it suits your skin and situation.
How much does the treatment cost?
A treatment costs CHF 1’100 for the face, CHF 1’500 for the face and neck, and CHF 1’900 for the face, neck and décolleté. Each of these options is also available as a package of three treatments, and prices for body areas are available on request. Aesthetic treatments are usually paid for privately.
