Frequently Asked Questions
How does the protocol work and how long does a session take?
The protocol starts with a consultation covering your starting point and goals. The three components are then spread across several appointments. A single session takes roughly 20 to 60 minutes, depending on the component.
Is the protocol painful, and is anaesthesia used?
All three components work with fine needles, and most people find this easy to tolerate. A numbing cream can be applied beforehand. HArmonyCa™ also contains lidocaine.
What risks and side effects are possible?
After injections, redness, swelling, tenderness and small bruises at the injection points are possible. Such reactions usually subside within a few days. You are informed about possible side effects before the protocol starts.
What should I consider before starting the protocol?
Plan the appointments so that no important occasions fall in the days that follow. You receive guidance on medication, alcohol and sun exposure before each appointment. Bring a list of your medication.
What should I consider after a session?
Treat the injection points gently for the first few hours and avoid sport, sauna and intense sun on that day. Make-up is usually possible again the following day. Your doctor will give you individual guidance.
How long does recovery take after a session?
Most people resume their daily routine on the same day. Visible reactions such as redness or swelling usually last one to three days. This phase is typically most noticeable after the HArmonyCa™ session.
When do results become visible?
The components take effect at different speeds: the expression-line treatment shows after two to seven days, PRP after two to six weeks, and collagen build-up following HArmonyCa™ over three to six months. The overall picture therefore develops step by step.
How long do the results last?
Depending on the component, results last around four to eighteen months. The expression-line treatment is usually refreshed two to three times a year, HArmonyCa™ roughly every nine to twelve months. How long it lasts for you depends on your skin and lifestyle.
How many sessions does the protocol include?
The protocol involves at least three appointments, one per component. PRP often calls for three sessions at four-week intervals. We agree on the exact plan together.
Who is the protocol suitable for?
The protocol is aimed at adults who wish to address several signs of skin ageing at once. Whether all three components suit you is assessed on the basis of your skin, your medication and your history. Injections are not performed during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
How much does the protocol cost?
The package price depends on the components and treatment areas selected and is quoted after the consultation. Individual prices for the treatments included are listed on the respective treatment pages. Aesthetic treatments are generally self-funded.
