What is LaseMD Ultra™?

LaseMD Ultra™ is a state-of-the-art, non-ablative fractional thulium laser that works in combi­nation with a unique cosme­ceu­tical delivery system. This revolu­tionary technology creates micro­scopic channels in the skin through which specially developed active ingre­dients can penetrate deep into the skin layers without damaging the protective surface.

What makes it special is that LaseMD Ultra™ combines the advan­tages of effective laser treatment with targeted delivery of active ingre­dients. This activates the skin's self-healing powers while delivering highly concen­trated active ingre­dients precisely where they are most effective.

Our highly effective ampoules:

VC ampoule (vitamin C): Protects against free radicals, reduces signs of skin ageing and promotes the formation of healthy collagen structures.

VA ampoule (retinol): Activates cell renewal and promotes natural collagen production for effective anti-ageing results.

TA ampoule (tranexamic acid): Brightens the skin and is ideal for treating melasma, pigmen­tation spots and scars.

What is the treatment procedure?

Treatment with LaseMD Ultra™ is straight­forward and comfortable:

1. Consul­tation

During a personal consul­tation, we analyse your skin, discuss your individual wishes and select the optimal ampoule for your needs.

2. Treatment

After thorough cleansing, an anaes­thetic ointment is applied if necessary. The laser head is passed over the area of skin to be treated several times, creating micro­scopic channels. The specially selected active ingre­dients are applied immediately after­wards, followed by a soothing care mask.

3. Aftercare

The skin will show slight redness, but this will quickly subside. You will receive the remaining contents of the ampoule for follow-up treatment in the following days. You can apply make-up and resume your normal activities the very next day.

The entire treatment takes about an hour, depending on the area, and is virtually painless.

After a thorough consul­tation and skin cleansing, the thulium laser is guided over the areas to be treated. This creates micro­scopic channels in the skin through which the selected active ingre­dients can then penetrate. The treatment is completed with a soothing mask. You can apply the remaining active ingre­dients at home over the following days.

The biggest advan­tages are immediate results with no downtime, no pain and versatile effec­ti­veness. Unlike ablative laser treat­ments, the skin surface remains intact, meaning that the skin is not parti­cu­larly sensitive after treatment. The treatment is suitable for all skin types and can be carried out all year round.

For optimal results, we recommend a series of 5 treat­ments at intervals of 2 weeks. Depending on your skin type and treatment goal, maintenance treat­ments every 2-3 months may be beneficial.

After treatment, the skin will be slightly reddened, but this will subside within a few hours. You can resume your normal activities immediately. It is important to use sunscreen consist­ently in the days following treatment, especially if active ingre­dients such as vitamin A or tranexamic acid have been used.

The treatment is very safe with minimal side effects. Temporary redness and a slight warming sensation may occur, but these usually subside within a few hours. Depending on the active ingre­dient used, the skin may be slightly more sensitive to the sun after treatment.
