Green Peel® is a herbal peel in which a blend of selected herbs containing enzymes, minerals and vitamins is worked into the skin using a special massage technique. The fine herbal particles gently remove the uppermost layers of the skin and stimulate its natural renewal. The treatment is available in three intensities: Fresh Up, Energy and Classic.
A range of skin concerns can be treated with Green Peel: blemished, acne-prone skin, enlarged pores, scars, pigmentation irregularities or early signs of skin ageing. Before the treatment, we discuss which option suits your skin, how your skin may respond, whether there is a risk of pigmentation changes and what aftercare is needed.

Treatment Areas
Green Peel can be used on both the face and the body.
Blemished, Acne-Prone Skin
On the face, Green Peel can be used for blemished, acne-prone skin. The herbs cleanse deeply, refine enlarged pores and can help to regulate sebum production.
Wrinkles and Skin Ageing
For premature wrinkles, early signs of skin ageing or sun-damaged skin, the herbal peel supports skin renewal and stimulates collagen formation. This can make the face look fresher and more even.
Scars and Pigmentation
The stimulated skin renewal can improve the appearance of scars, acne scars and certain forms of hyperpigmentation, meaning darker patches of skin. The complexion can then look more even.
Tired, Dull Skin
For tired, dull skin and mild pigmentation irregularities, the gentler Fresh Up and Energy options are particularly suitable. Fresh Up also lends itself to regular skincare.
Body
On the body, Green Peel can be applied to stretch marks, scars and lax skin on the abdomen, upper arms or thighs. The aim is to improve skin texture and elasticity.
How does Green Peel® work?
Green Peel is based on a blend of selected herbs rich in enzymes, minerals and vitamins. The blend is worked into the skin with a particular massage technique, and the pressure and duration depend on the chosen option.
The herbs’ own microparticles gently abrade the uppermost layers of the skin. This mechanical process increases the skin’s ability to absorb active ingredients and stimulates the skin’s growth zone, where new cells are formed.
In this way, a renewal process is set in motion that continues for several days. Its intensity depends on the option: Fresh Up is the gentlest, Energy has a medium intensity and Classic is the most intensive form.

Why Green Peel® at Aesthetics Medical?
Original Formula
We use the original Green Peel® herbal peel developed by Christine Schrammek. The formula has existed for more than 60 years and has been continuously refined since then.
Natural Herbal Blend
The herbal peel consists of 100% herbs and contains no chemical additives. Its effect comes about mechanically, through the fine herbal particles.
Assessment Every Time
Before each application, we assess your skin type and the current condition of your skin. The option and the dosage of the herbs are chosen accordingly.
Three Intensities
Fresh Up, Energy and Classic allow the treatment to be matched to your skin and to the recovery time you can plan for.
Trained Team
Our team has received specific training in the original Green Peel® method and has experience with its different treatment options.
Support with Classic
We accompany the most intensive option with two follow-up appointments and final skincare measures, so that progress is monitored during the first few days.

What does the treatment involve?
Skin Analysis
We begin by assessing your skin type, skin texture and concerns. Together, we decide which option is suitable and discuss possible skin reactions.
Cleansing
The skin is thoroughly cleansed to remove make-up, dirt and sebum. This allows the herbal blend to be worked in well.
Massage
The dosed herbal blend is massaged in using a specific technique, and you may feel mild tingling or prickling. With Classic, the massage is more intensive and lasts longer than with Energy or Fresh Up.
Leave-on Time
After the massage, the blend stays on the skin for a while so that the active ingredients can reach deeper layers. You can relax during this phase.
Aftercare
You receive special skincare products and precise instructions for home. After Classic, specific skincare steps are planned for the following 5 days.
Follow-Up Visits
With Classic, follow-up appointments take place on the second and fifth day after the treatment. At these visits, we check how the skin is renewing.
The Three Green Peel® Options
The three options differ in intensity, typical use and downtime.
Green Peel Classic
Green Peel Classic is the most intensive option and is intended for enlarged pores, a marked tendency to acne, scars, deep wrinkles, significant sun damage, hyperpigmentation or stretch marks. The skin may peel afterwards, to a degree that varies from person to person, and this does not affect how the treatment works. You should plan for about 5 days of downtime.
Green Peel Energy
Green Peel Energy has a medium intensity without visible peeling. It may be used for age-related skin changes, mild blemishes, dull skin, smaller scars and pigmentation irregularities, and everyday activities can continue as usual.
Green Peel Fresh Up
Green Peel Fresh Up is the gentlest option and is suited to tired, dull skin, mild pigmentation irregularities and regular skincare. Social engagements are possible straight afterwards.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the treatment work and how long does it take?
After a skin analysis and thorough cleansing, the herbal blend is massaged in and then left on the skin for a while. The pressure and duration of the massage depend on the chosen option. A treatment takes about one hour in total, and Classic also includes follow-up appointments on the second and fifth day.
Is the treatment painful, and is anaesthesia used?
The treatment is generally well tolerated. While the herbs are massaged in, you may feel mild tingling or prickling, depending on the pressure used and your skin condition. With the Classic option, this sensation can be stronger. Anaesthesia is not required.
What risks and side effects are possible?
Swelling, redness and mild tenderness are normal after the treatment, and these reactions usually settle on their own within 24 hours. With Classic, peeling of the skin is part of the renewal process. Serious side effects are not known for the herbal peel. Your individual risks, including any risk of pigmentation changes, and the suitability of the treatment are discussed in detail during the medical consultation.
What should I consider before the treatment?
Beforehand, we discuss which option suits you, how your skin may respond and what aftercare is needed. If you are planning the Classic option, it helps to choose a date with no important commitments in the following 5 days. The treatment is possible at any time of year, and you will receive instructions on medication and sun exposure in good time.
What should I consider after the treatment?
You will receive special products and precise instructions for caring for your skin at home. Avoid irritating the skin mechanically and keep it well moisturised; after Classic, make-up should be avoided for the first few days. Consistent sun protection is particularly important during the first weeks.
How long does recovery take after the treatment?
This depends on the chosen option. After Fresh Up and Energy, you can usually return to social activities straight away. With Classic, you should allow about 5 days during which the skin may peel and work or social commitments should be avoided. The degree of peeling varies from person to person.

When do results become visible?
After Fresh Up and Energy, fresher-looking skin may be visible shortly after the treatment. With Classic, the skin renews itself over about 5 days, and the change becomes visible once this phase is complete. How noticeable it is depends on your skin.
How long do the results last?
How long the result lasts varies from person to person and depends on the condition of your skin. To maintain your complexion, the treatment can be repeated at regular intervals, depending on the option. How often this makes sense for you is set out in an individual treatment protocol.
How many sessions are usually needed?
Green Peel Classic is generally carried out 1–2 times a year, while Energy can be repeated every 2–3 months. Fresh Up can also be used monthly as regular skincare. We decide together on the schedule that suits your skin and set it out in an individual treatment protocol.
Who is the treatment suitable for?
Green Peel is generally suitable for all skin types: for blemished, acne-prone skin, enlarged pores, scars, pigmentation irregularities or early signs of skin ageing. With three intensities and an adjustable dosage, the treatment can be adapted to your skin. We check whether it is suitable for you during a consultation.
How much does the treatment cost?
A Green Peel treatment for the face costs CHF 600. Prices for other areas, such as the body, are available on request. Aesthetic treatments are usually paid for privately, and we confirm the exact cost after the initial consultation.
