JULÄINE™ of Sweden is a breakth­rough in regene­rative aesthetic medicine, based on the latest LASYNPRO technology (poly-L-lactic acid micro­spheres). Unlike conven­tional hyalu­ronic acid fillers, which create volume in the short term, JULÄINE™ stimu­lates the body's own production of collagen and elastin deep in the skin layers – where the aging process begins.

The technology: JULÄINE™ uses highly pure L-lactic acid (PLLA) to activate the skin's natural repair mecha­nisms. The PLLA micro­spheres are injected into the dermis, where they:

What is the JULÄINE™ treatment procedure?

1. Consul­tation

Dr. Mazzei analyzes your skin type, signs of aging, and aesthetic goals. He plans the treatment areas and explains the regene­ration process in detail.

2. Prepa­ration of the skin

The skin is carefully cleansed and prepared. Super­ficial anesthesia or cooling can be used if desired.

3. Injection of the biostimulators

JULÄINE™️ is injected into the skin using very fine needles. Targeted distri­bution ensures that the regene­ration processes are effec­tively stimulated.

4. Short rest period & care instructions

After the treatment, we discuss the optimal care and support you with individual recommendations.

The treatment usually takes 30–45 minutes, and you can quickly resume your normal daily routine afterwards.

JULÄINE™ of Sweden is an innovative biosti­mu­lator based on LASYNPRO technology (poly-L-lactic acid micro­spheres). Unlike tradi­tional fillers, JULÄINE™ stimu­lates the body's own production of collagen and elastin deep within the skin layers for long-lasting, natural skin rejuve­nation. The skin is regene­rated from within – not just super­fi­cially filled.

Hyalu­ronic acid fillers provide immediate volume and mecha­ni­cally correct wrinkles, but only last for 6-18 months. JULÄINE™ does NOT provide immediate volume, but stimu­lates the body's own collagen production over several months for funda­mental skin impro­vement. The effect develops progres­sively and lasts for up to 2+ years. Completely different mecha­nisms and goals.

Both are based on PLLA (poly-L-lactic acid), but JULÄINE™ uses the latest LASYNPRO technology with optimised micro­spheres for more efficient, focused regene­ration. JULÄINE™ typically requires only 2 sessions (vs. 3-4 for Sculptra) and often shows faster visible results with compa­rable long-term effects.

Thanks to the fine injection technique, the treatment is well tolerated. A slight feeling of tension or pricking may occur. If desired, a local anaes­thetic cream can be applied or cooling can be used for maximum comfort. Most patients describe the treatment as tolerable.

We generally recommend a series of two sessions at intervals of four to six weeks, depending on skin condition, age and desired results. This series builds on each other for optimal collagen stimu­lation. Additional sessions may be beneficial for very prono­unced signs of ageing.

JULÄINE™ is not an "instant solution" like hyalu­ronic acid fillers. The first impro­ve­ments in skin quality occur after 3-6 weeks, when the regene­ration process begins. The full effect unfolds over 3-6 months, as your skin conti­nuously produces new collagen. The progressive impro­vement is natural and authentic.

The regene­rative effects are long-lasting and can remain visible for up to 2 years or longer. The newly formed collagen is slowly broken down, but remains signi­fi­cantly longer than hyalu­ronic acid fillers. The results can be further prolonged with refresher treatments.

JULÄINE™️ can be used on most skin types. An individual consul­tation will determine whether this treatment is suitable for you.

As with any injection treatment, the following may occur tempo­r­arily: slight redness (1–3 days), minimal swelling (2–5 days), small bruises (1–2 weeks), sensi­tivity to pressure, rarely small nodules (which will disappear). These reactions are typical, harmless and temporary. Serious compli­ca­tions are very rare when the treatment is performed correctly.

Downtime is minimal. Slight redness and swelling may persist for 1-3 days. Any residual marks can be easily concealed with make-up (from day 2 onwards). Most patients are able to resume their normal social and work activities after 2-3 days.

JULÄINE™ can be combined excel­lently with wrinkle treat­ments, hyalu­ronic acid fillers (for specific volume correction), skin boosters (for additional hydration), PRP/​PRF (for syner­gistic regene­ration), laser or peeling (for skin texture). Dr Mazzei plans individual combi­na­tions for holistic rejuvenation.

Yes. JULÄINE™ is based on poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a biocom­pa­tible and biode­gra­dable material that has been used in medicine for decades (also used in surgical sutures). LASYNPRO technology is clini­cally tested, scien­ti­fi­cally proven and has a very favourable safety profile. Allergies are extremely rare.

Avoid intense physical activity, heat (sauna, solarium) and strong sunlight for 24-48 hours. Do not rub or massage the treated areas vigorously. Use sunscreen consist­ently (SPF 50+). Eat a healthy diet, drink plenty of water and do not smoke (this impairs collagen production). You will receive all recom­men­da­tions after the treatment.
