DNAMO decodes the genetic conditions behind your training: the muscle fibres you lean on, how you clear lactate, how your body responds to load, and where your tendency towards injury lies.

The genetic sports analysis examines areas relevant to training and physical load: which muscle fibres predominate, how the body handles lactate, how it responds to load with inflammatory processes, and how pronounced the tendency towards muscle, tendon and ligament injuries is. A second module covers nutrition around training.

Benefits at a Glance

  • Uncovers your genetic profile for muscle fibres, lactate clearance and recovery
  • Flags injury-prone areas before they become injuries
  • Helps you train and recover smarter, not just harder
  • Aligns your sports nutrition with how your body performs under load

The analysis is aimed at people who train regularly and want to manage their load sensibly. A genetic predisposition does not determine what you can achieve: it describes the conditions from which training and recovery can be planned. The report is not a diagnosis and does not replace a sports medicine examination.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the analysis work and how long does it take?

After the consultation and your consent, the sample is taken, which takes a few minutes. The laboratory determines the gene variants and produces the report, which we then go through together.

Is sample collection uncomfortable?

No. It is brief and not painful.

What risks and limits does the analysis have?

Physically, collection carries little risk. In terms of content, the report describes predispositions rather than performance limits; training, technique, recovery and nutrition remain decisive. With symptoms or after an injury, assessment belongs to sports medicine.

What should I consider before sample collection?

You receive instructions on how to prepare before the appointment. Bring details of previous injuries and of your current training plan.

What happens after the analysis?

You receive the report and we agree what follows from it for load, rest periods and nutrition. You can pass the report on to your coach.

Is there any downtime?

No. You can train straight after the appointment.

When is the report ready?

After 3–4 weeks; we then arrange the review appointment.

How long are the results valid?

Permanently. Your gene variants do not change; only training goals and recommendations are adjusted over time.

How many appointments are needed?

Two: the consultation with sample collection, and the review of the report.

Who is the analysis suitable for?

For people who train regularly, want to manage their load and prevent injuries — in recreational as well as competitive sport.

How much does the analysis cost?

The cost is quoted on request. You will receive the exact amount after your personal consultation.
