LPG® Endermologie is a non-invasive method in which a special device stimulates the subcutaneous tissue mechanically using motorised rollers and regulated suction. The massage releases adhesions in the connective tissue and stimulates circulation and lymphatic flow, which can help the skin look firmer and more even. The method is also known as LPG lymphatic drainage.
The treatment is used on the body for cellulite, lax tissue and localised fat deposits, as well as on the face and neck. Beforehand, we discuss suitability, realistic goals and possible risks with you and put together a treatment plan for the areas concerned.
Treatment Areas
The treatment can be used on both the body and the face.
Legs and Buttocks
On the thighs, particularly the area known as saddlebags, and on the buttocks and knees, the treatment targets cellulite, also called orange-peel skin. The massage can help firm the tissue and make the contours look smoother.
Abdomen, Waist and Hips
On the abdomen, waist and hips, the treatment may be considered for lax tissue and localised fat deposits, including after weight loss or pregnancy. The aim is a firmer, more defined-looking silhouette.
Upper Arms
On the upper arms, the treatment is used for lax tissue and fat deposits in this area. This can help the skin texture look firmer and fresher.
Face and Neck
For age-related laxity of the face and neck, the treatment aims to stimulate collagen production. The cheeks and neck can look firmer, and a double chin can appear less pronounced.
How does LPG® Endermologie work?
This patented, non-invasive method was developed specifically for cellulite and lax tissue. A handpiece with motorised rollers and regulated suction stimulates the tissue mechanically by gently lifting, rolling and kneading the skin.
As a result, adhesions are released in the connective tissue, where fat cells are held together by collagen fibres and the typical orange-peel appearance forms. At the same time, circulation and lymphatic flow are stimulated, improving the supply of oxygen and nutrients to the skin.
The massage also stimulates fibroblasts, the cells that produce collagen and elastin. Because the tissue is addressed on several levels, changes develop over a course of treatments and can look natural.

Preparation
For the treatment, you wear a special thin bodysuit. It is hygienic and transfers the massage evenly to the tissue.
Treatment
The LPG® handpiece is used to massage the areas systematically, with rollers and suction gently lifting, rolling and kneading the tissue. A session takes about 40 minutes, depending on the area treated.
Aftercare
You can return to your usual activities straight after the session. Drinking enough water afterwards is recommended.
Further Sessions
The initial phase usually involves 6–10 treatments with 1–2 appointments per week. For maintenance, 1–2 sessions per month follow.

How does the treatment work and how long does it take?
After the consultation, you put on a thin bodysuit that is hygienic and transfers the massage to the tissue. The agreed areas are then treated systematically with the LPG® handpiece. A session takes about 40 minutes and feels like an intensive, deep massage.
Is the treatment painful, and is anaesthesia used?
Most people find the treatment a pleasant, if intensive, massage. The intensity is adapted to your skin type and needs, and anaesthesia is not required.
What risks and side effects are possible?
Occasionally, mild redness appears in the treated area after the session and subsides within a few hours. A mild feeling of pressure or an increased need to urinate may also occur. More serious side effects are extremely rare, and we discuss possible risks in your case before the course begins.
What should I consider before the treatment?
Please tell us about any pregnancy, recent surgery and existing medical conditions before your first session so that we can assess your suitability. After surgery, about three months should pass before treatment begins. Before the appointment, you also receive clear instructions on how to prepare.
What should I consider after the treatment?
Drinking enough water after the session is recommended. To maintain the improvement, regular maintenance appointments follow the initial phase. If any questions arise after the treatment, you know whom to contact.
How long does recovery take after the treatment?
As a rule, no recovery time is needed: you can work, exercise and go about your usual activities straight after the treatment. Mild redness may occur and fades within a few hours.

Changes develop gradually over the course of treatments and can look natural. For visibly smoother and firmer skin, 6–10 treatments are usually needed, ideally 1–2 times per week. The full result becomes apparent once the course is complete.

How long the improvements last depends largely on whether treatment is continued regularly. After the initial phase, 1–2 sessions per month are therefore recommended for maintenance. We agree on a suitable rhythm with you.

Who is the treatment suitable for?
LPG® Endermologie is suitable for most people, including for cellulite, lax tissue or local fat deposits. It is not used during pregnancy, with acute inflammation of the veins, severe circulatory disorders, untreated cardiovascular disease, open wounds or skin infections in the treatment area, or with certain cancers. We assess your situation carefully beforehand.
How much does the treatment cost?
A face treatment costs CHF 120 and a body treatment CHF 150. For a course, packages of 10 are available at CHF 900 (face) and CHF 1’200 (body). As an aesthetic treatment, it is usually paid for privately.
