BioRePeel is an innovative treatment method that combines biosti­mu­lation, revita­li­sation and peeling in one. At Aesthetics Medical in Zurich, we use BioRePeelCl3, a patented formula containing trichlo­roacetic acid, fruit acids, vitamins and amino acids for visible anti-ageing effects and clear, radiant skin.

Unlike conven­tional chemical peels, BioRePeel preserves the skin's hydro­lipid film and conti­nuously moistu­rises the skin. The short appli­cation time of only 3-10 minutes makes the treatment parti­cu­larly gentle and well tolerated. What is BioRePeel?

BioRePeel origi­nates from the patented BioRe­Therapy and is an innovative, biphasic peeling system that has been specially developed for medical aesthetic appli­ca­tions. It combines three mecha­nisms of action in one treatment: biosti­mu­lation, revita­li­sation and peeling – hence the name BioRePeel.

What makes the biphasic formula so special: BioRePeel consists of two phases that together form a unique combi­nation of active ingre­dients. The formula contains 35% trichlo­roacetic acid (TCA), supple­mented by an innovative blend of hydroxy acids (AHA, BHA, PHA), salicylic acid, amino acids (especially arginine), vitamins and GABA (gamma-amino­bu­tyric acid).

How it works: Unlike conven­tional chemical peels, which dry out the skin and destroy the hydro­lipid film, BioRePeel preserves this protective film. While old skin cells are gently removed, the skin is simul­ta­neously moistu­rised and biosyn­thetic processes are activated. This results in an exfoli­ating effect without extreme peeling or skin damage.

The short appli­cation time of only 3-10 minutes makes the treatment parti­cu­larly gentle. The duration is indivi­dually adjusted to the treatment area and skin condition. BioRePeel is parti­cu­larly beneficial for blemished or slightly inflamed skin, as it has an antioxidant effect and stabi­lises the moisture balance – the skin is not unneces­s­arily dried out, but benefits from a revita­lising effect.

After the treatment, a special BioRe­Hydra serum or BioReLift cream is applied. These after-treatment products contain oceanic seaweed extract, amino acids, vitamins, GABA and micro­nised hyalu­ronic acid, which retains water in the connective tissue matrix and increases collagen and elastin production. This further enhances the anti-ageing effect.

BioRePeel treatment procedure

1. Consul­tation and skin analysis

We begin with a detailed consul­tation. We analyse your skin type and condition and determine your treatment goals. Together, we discuss whether BioRePeel is suitable for you, which treatment areas are optimal and how many sessions are likely to be necessary. We will explain the possible risks and realistic results. Please let us know if you are taking any medication or have any skin conditions.

2. Prepa­ration of the treatment area

The area to be treated – face, neck, décolleté or body parts – is thoroughly cleansed. No anaes­thesia is required for a pure BioRePeel treatment.

3. Appli­cation of the BioRePeel active ingredient

The biphasic BioRePeelCl3 active ingre­dient is drawn up with a cannula after the emulsion and applied to the area to be treated. The gel is gently massaged in until it is completely absorbed by the skin. The appli­cation time is 3-10 minutes and is indivi­dually adjusted to your skin and the treatment goal.

4. Cleansing and aftercare

After the appli­cation time, the treatment area is cleansed with water. A special BioRe­Hydra serum or BioReLift cream is then applied. These aftercare products enhance the anti-ageing effect and provide the skin with intensive moisture. They contain oceanic seaweed extract, micro­nised hyalu­ronic acid and other regene­rating active ingredients.

5. Aftercare and care recommendations

After the treatment, you will already look fresher – your skin will be firmer, more even and radiant. Over the next 3-5 days, your skin may flake slightly, which is a normal part of the regene­ration process. It is important to protect your skin from direct sunlight over the next few days and to use sunscreen regularly.

6. Follow-up appointments

For optimal results, we recommend a series of 4-6 treat­ments at intervals of 2 weeks (face) or 3 weeks (body). The first impro­vement is already visible after the first session, with the full effect unfolding over the entire treatment series.

No, the BioRePeel treatment is painless and very well tolerated. During the appli­cation time of 3-10 minutes, you may feel a slight tingling sensation, but this is not unpleasant. For combi­nation treat­ments with micro­needling or mesotherapy, an anaes­thetic cream is applied beforehand.
