In radiofrequency microneedling with GENIUS®, fine microneedles deliver thermal energy precisely beneath the surface of the skin. This heat stimulates the body’s own production of collagen and elastin, two components that give the skin firmness and elasticity. Over time, the skin can appear firmer, smoother and fresher. The treatment is also known as a mini-lift.
The treatment may be considered for selected concerns relating to skin texture and tightening. These include wrinkles, scars, stretch marks or reduced firmness on the face, neck, décolleté and body. During the consultation, we assess your skin, discuss your expectations and explain what recovery involves and which risks are possible.
Treatment Areas
GENIUS® can be used on the face and on various areas of the body.
Face
On the face, the treatment can help firm the skin on the forehead, cheeks and chin, define the contours and smooth the complexion. It can also address nasolabial folds and enlarged pores.
Chin and Neck
On the chin and neck, the treatment addresses areas of slack skin and a double chin. The aim is firmer skin around the neck and jawline.
Décolleté
On the décolleté, GENIUS® can soften fine lines and wrinkles and contribute to a more even complexion.
Body
On the body, possible concerns include stretch marks, scars and slack skin on the arms, abdomen or thighs.
Scalp
For thinning hair, GENIUS® can also be used on the scalp. The fine microneedles and radiofrequency heat can stimulate circulation and regeneration in the scalp; depending on your starting point, the treatment can be combined with MCT Exosomes. The aim is a better-nourished scalp and hair that looks stronger.
What is GENIUS®?
GENIUS® is a system for building collagen through radiofrequency microneedling. It combines fine microneedles with thermal energy from radiofrequency, which is delivered precisely beneath the skin’s surface.
Each treatment creates more than 50,000 microcoagulation points, tiny points of heat within the tissue. These stimulate the natural production of collagen and elastin, which can influence skin quality over several weeks. A real-time feedback system supports precise energy delivery.
GENIUS® is a minimally invasive procedure: the skin surface is protected because the uppermost layer of skin is not removed. The treatment can be adapted to different skin types and skin tones. Depending on the treatment goal, GENIUS® can be combined with other procedures, and any combination is planned individually.

In a personal consultation, we assess your skin and discuss your wishes and expectations. Together, we decide which areas will be treated.
Preparation
At the start of the session, an anaesthetic cream is applied to the skin to make the treatment more comfortable.
Treatment
The handpiece with its needle attachment is guided over the skin, and fine microneedles deliver radiofrequency energy beneath the surface. Depending on the area, the session lasts between 30 and 90 minutes.
Aftercare
The skin is then cooled with a mask to reduce redness. Special aftercare is usually not required.
Further Sessions
Further sessions follow at intervals of 4 weeks, with 3 to 5 treatments often recommended.

Special aftercare is usually not needed. Directly after the session, a mask cools the skin and reduces redness. You receive any further guidance for the following period directly from us.
How long does recovery take after the treatment?
You can usually return to your normal activities directly after the treatment. The skin may be slightly red and swollen at first, which is why we recommend waiting until the following day before applying make-up.

How long do the results last?
How long the effect lasts depends on skin type, age and lifestyle and may range from several months to several years. Maintenance treatments can prolong the effect. We discuss with you when a maintenance treatment may be worthwhile.
