What is RF Secret Microneedling?

RF Secret Micro­needling combines two highly effective treatment methods:

  1. Micro­needling: Ultra-fine micro­needles create controlled micro-injuries in the skin, which activate the natural healing process and stimulate the formation of growth factors.
  2. Radio frequency (RF): At the same time, radio frequency energy is applied directly to the deeper layers of the skin via the needles, creating a targeted thermal effect.

This combi­nation inten­sively stimu­lates collagen and elastin production, improves skin structure and promotes tissue renewal. The result is natural skin tightening and rejuve­nation that continues to improve in the weeks following treatment.

Unlike conven­tional micro­needling, RF Secret uses additional radio­fre­quency to reach deeper layers of the skin, achieving signi­fi­cantly more effective and longer-lasting results.

What is the treatment procedure?

The RF Secret Micro­needling treatment is straight­forward and efficient:

1. Prepa­ration

After a detailed consul­tation, your skin is thoroughly cleansed and an anaes­thetic cream is applied to make the treatment as comfor­table as possible.

2. Treatment

The special RF Secret handpiece is used to guide the radio frequency-coupled micro­needles precisely over the areas of skin to be treated. The treatment takes appro­xi­m­ately 60 minutes, depending on the area.

3. Aftercare

After the treatment, your skin is soothed with a cooling mask and treated with a hyalu­ronic acid ampoule to support the healing process.

In addition, LED photo­therapy is used to promote cell regene­ration and cryolifting therapy to reduce redness.

The skin may be slightly reddened after the treatment, similar to a mild sunburn. This redness usually subsides within 24-48 hours.

For optimal results, we recommend a series of 3-6 treat­ments at intervals of 4-6 weeks. The exact number depends on your individual skin type and treatment goals. After the initial treatment, annual or semi-annual refresher treat­ments can maintain the results.

  • Do not apply make-up for 24 hours
  • No intense physical activity for 48 hours
  • No sauna, steam bath or swimming pool visits for 3-5 days
  • Avoid intense sunlight for at least one week and use sunscreen (SPF 50+) consistently
  • Only use mild, non-irritating skin care products in the first few days after treatment
  • Drink plenty of water to support the healing process

The treatment is very safe with minimal risks. Possible temporary side effects include:

  • Redness (usually subsides within 24-48 hours)
  • Slight swelling
  • Skin sensi­tivity
  • In very rare cases, small bruises or scabbing

Downtime is minimal. Most patients can resume their normal activities immediately after treatment. The initial redness is similar to a mild sunburn and usually subsides within 24-48 hours. Mineral make-up can be used to cover the redness the day after treatment.
