A genetic analysis turns your DNA into practical guidance: how your body handles nutrients, how it responds to physical training, and what conditions your skin brings with it. From a single sample, the laboratory determines a defined set of gene variants, and the report sets out clear recommendations for nutrition, training and skincare — a foundation for a long-term approach to health, fitness and beauty.
Benefits at a Glance
- Uncovers predispositions your body has carried since birth
- Turns cutting-edge genetic science into a personal plan for nutrition, training, skin and prevention
- Builds a long-term foundation for proactive, personalised health
- One sample, insights that remain relevant for life
A genetic analysis is not a diagnosis and does not replace a medical examination. It shows predispositions, not diseases. The analysis is therefore ordered medically and the report is discussed with you by a doctor: only in that conversation does it turn into a plan that fits your goals and your daily life.
Our Analyses
Five analyses, each with its own focus — nutrition, sport, skin or prevention — plus the option to combine all of them into one complete picture. We help you choose the right starting point at the consultation.
Nutrition and Metabolism
GenoDiet Complete examines areas around weight, metabolism, micronutrients and how well foods are tolerated. It shows how your body responds to carbohydrates, fats and proteins and where your specific nutrient needs lie — a practical basis for a nutrition plan built around you. Sport and Fitness
DNAMO examines areas relevant to training and physical load, together with the nutrition that goes with it. It covers muscle fibre type, lactate metabolism and your tendency towards injury, so training load and recovery can be planned around your own physiology. Learn more about the genetic sports analysis (DNAMO) →
Skin
Dermogen examines areas concerning skin ageing, elasticity, the skin barrier and cellulite. The results show how your skin is likely to age and respond to sun exposure, giving skincare and treatment planning a clear, individual starting point. Learn more about the genetic skin analysis (Dermogen) →
Prevention
Prevegen examines areas from the field of prevention. This analysis is ordered and accompanied medically. It covers folate and oestrogen metabolism, blood clotting and bone health — characteristics that matter for decisions made together with your doctor, well ahead of time. Complete Analysis
All modules in one report — nutrition, training, skin and prevention, brought together for a complete, connected approach to your long-term health, fitness and beauty. Learn more about the complete genetic analysis →
How is a genetic report produced?
In the laboratory, individual, predefined gene variants are determined from your sample. What is examined is not your entire genome but a limited selection of genes for which a link with the relevant area has been described. For each area, the report states how the variants found are to be interpreted.
The report has four parts: an overview of every area examined with its result, detailed explanations and recommendations for each area, a description of the scientific basis, and an annex showing which foods suit your characteristics and which ones to use more sparingly.
There are limits to what this can say. The evaluations are based on studies in European populations, and gene variants are only part of the picture: nutrition, exercise, sleep and environment continue to have an effect. A report therefore describes predispositions, not your state of health.
- A limited selection of defined gene variants
- A report with overview, explanations and sources
- An annex with guidance on foods
- A medical review of the report
Why genetic analyses at Aesthetics Medical?
We turn your genetic report into a plan you can actually use — concrete guidance for how you eat, train and care for your skin, discussed with you in person.
Medical Interpretation
A report on its own changes nothing. We go through it with you and translate it into concrete steps for nutrition, training or skincare.
Linked to Your Treatment
If you are already being treated here, the report can be combined with your existing plan, for example for skin quality or body treatments.
Clear Limits
We also tell you what an analysis does not answer, and we do not recommend one if it will not move your question forward.
One Appointment, One Sample
Sample collection is brief, the analysis is done once and the report remains valid.
Confidentiality
Sample and report are handled according to the applicable rules. What happens to your data is explained to you in writing before the analysis.
What does the analysis involve?
Consultation
We clarify your question and which analysis fits it. You learn what the report contains, where its limits are and how your data is handled.
Consent
You receive the information in writing and confirm it before the sample is taken.
Sample Collection
The sample is taken at the practice and takes only a few minutes.
Laboratory Analysis
The laboratory determines the gene variants and produces the report.
Review Appointment
We go through the report together, interpret the results and agree the next steps.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the analysis work and how long does it take?
After the consultation and your written consent, the sample is taken at the practice, which takes a few minutes. The laboratory produces the report from it, and we then go through the report together.
Is sample collection uncomfortable?
No. It is brief and not painful, and no anaesthesia is needed.
What risks and limits does a genetic analysis have?
Physically, sample collection carries little risk. The limits that matter are in the content: the report describes predispositions and is not a diagnosis, the evaluations are based on studies in European populations, and lifestyle and environment continue to have an effect. What your report means for you is discussed in person.
What should I consider before sample collection?
You receive clear instructions on how to prepare before the appointment. Bring details of previous conditions, medication and earlier investigations, as they help with interpreting the report.
What happens after the analysis?
You receive the report and we go through it together. From it we build a plan for nutrition, exercise or skincare that you implement at your own pace.
Is there any downtime?
No. You can continue with your day straight after the appointment.
Show all 11 questions
When is the report ready?
The report comes from the laboratory after 3–4 weeks. We arrange the review appointment as soon as it arrives.
How long are the results valid?
Your gene variants do not change, so the report stays valid. Only the recommendations are updated over time, for instance when your goals or your circumstances change.
How many appointments are needed?
Usually two: one for the consultation and sample collection, one for the review of the report.
Who is a genetic analysis suitable for?
For people who want to target their nutrition, training or skincare more precisely. Whether an analysis answers your question is assessed together beforehand. Analyses in the field of prevention are subject to additional medical requirements.
How much does a genetic analysis cost?
The cost depends on the analysis chosen and is quoted on request. You will receive the exact amount after your personal consultation.
