Frequently Asked Questions
How does the protocol work and how long does a session take?
The session starts with assessment and cleansing of the skin, followed by active ingredients and massage, then light therapy and the finishing mask. A session takes around 60 to 90 minutes, depending on scope.
Is the protocol painful, and is anaesthesia used?
The protocol works without needles and without heat. Most people find the session relaxing. Anaesthesia is not required.
What risks and side effects are possible?
Mild redness or a feeling of warmth after the massage is possible and usually subsides within a few hours. For sensitive skin or known intolerances, the products are adapted beforehand.
What should I consider before starting the protocol?
Come without make-up where possible and tell us about your current skincare routine. Pause strongly exfoliating products a few days beforehand. Please let us know about any known allergies to skincare ingredients.
What should I consider after a session?
Avoid intense sun, sauna and strong exfoliation on the day of treatment. Use gentle skincare in the days that follow and apply sun protection daily. We discuss suitable home-care products afterwards.
How long does recovery take after a session?
Recovery time is usually not needed. Daily activities are possible straight after the session, and make-up usually is too. Individual skin reactions remain possible.
When do results become visible?
Fresher-looking skin is often visible immediately after the session. Texture and luminosity continue to develop over several sessions with regular treatment.
How long do the results last?
How long the effect lasts depends on your skin, your home care and your lifestyle. Many people therefore book the session at regular intervals.
How many sessions does the protocol include?
Glass Skin can be booked as a single session. For a lasting effect, a rhythm of four to six weeks is often chosen. We set your personal plan together.
Who is the protocol suitable for?
The protocol suits adults who wish to work on skin quality and surface texture without injections. If there is acute skin inflammation or open areas on the face, treatment is postponed.
How much does the protocol cost?
The package price depends on the scope and the zones treated and is quoted after the consultation. Individual components such as LED phototherapy can also be booked separately.
