How It Is Composed
A protocol is an ordered sequence of coordinated treatments. In Hydra Revival the device-based treatment cleanses the skin first, followed by the regenerative step and finally a cooling mask.
- 01HydraFacial® Deep CleansingDevice-based cleansing, exfoliation and delivery of active ingredients without needles.
- 02PRP Autologous Blood TreatmentA concentrate obtained from your own blood is introduced into the skin.
- 03Calm Cooling MaskCooling finishing mask to calm the skin after the session.
For the PRP treatment, three sessions at four-week intervals are often planned. How often the deep cleansing is added is decided after the skin assessment.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the protocol work and how long does a session take?
The session starts with device-based deep cleansing, followed by preparation and application of the blood concentrate, and finishes with the cooling mask. Depending on scope, a session takes around 60 to 90 minutes.
Is the protocol painful, and is anaesthesia used?
The deep cleansing works without needles and is described as comfortable. The PRP step uses fine needles, and a numbing cream can be applied beforehand.
What risks and side effects are possible?
After the PRP step, redness, swelling and small bruises at the injection points are possible and usually subside within a few days. As the body's own material is used, an allergic reaction to it is not expected.
What should I consider before starting the protocol?
Drink enough on the day of the blood draw and eat something beforehand. Pause blood-thinning preparations as agreed and avoid intense sun. Tell us about your medication.
What should I consider after a session?
Treat the skin gently for the first few hours and avoid sport, sauna and make-up on that day. Use gentle skincare and sun protection in the days that follow.
How long does recovery take after a session?
Recovery time remains short. Daily activities are usually possible on the same day, and redness normally settles within one to two days.
When do results become visible?
Fresher-looking skin often shows straight after the deep cleansing. The effect of the PRP step develops over two to six weeks and can be fully assessed after around six weeks.
How long do the results last?
For the PRP step, around six to twelve months is described. How long the effect of the deep cleansing lasts depends on your skin and your home care.
How many sessions does the protocol include?
PRP often calls for three sessions at four-week intervals. The deep cleansing can be scheduled on its own or alongside. We agree on the rhythm together.
Who is the protocol suitable for?
The protocol is aimed at adults with dry or tired-looking skin. Before the PRP step, blood clotting, medication and medical history are checked. PRP is not performed during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
How much does the protocol cost?
The package price depends on the components selected and the number of sessions and is quoted after the consultation. Individual prices for HydraFacial® and the PRP autologous blood treatment are on the respective treatment pages.
